The Perfect Article

I just found the perfect article for our thesis paper on the media’s use of religion. The article is called “Religion: The Spirit of Moneymaking.” The article tackles the main point of our paper, which is the use of religion as a means to create revenue for businesses and overall, the government. The article breaks the topic down into specific points. The supporting points are the origins of religion, the purpose of governments establishing religion in history, changing perception of religion on society and how the media motivated these changes, and how supporting the concept of religion generates revenue. Each of these supporting topics bring out a different aspect that would support our thesis that religion is no longer as spiritual and sacred form of worship, but rather a manipulated form of deceiving the people of society to continue this process of consumerism.
