Cyber Bullying...

Embarrassment is a horrible feeling that can destroy a person’s psyche. The two students who were involved in this incident should face criminal charges and prison. The man who used his webcam knew exactly what he was doing and thought it would be funny. As college students, they should have known the affects of their actions. I believe they did, but they just did not care how they were destroying another person’s reputation and life. This is what saddens me. People do not think about the affects of their actions on other people. So many people have been victims of bullying and have taken their lives because of the lack of self-worth and humiliation. The expression, “It’s all fun and games until somebody gets hurt,” still remains. This reminds me of the article we read about young adults in their 20s. It seems as though the power of reasoning is diminishing as the years go by. I doubt these two individuals were actually trying to hurt the student to commit suicide in the beginning, but they did not fully think about what their actions could lead to. I just wonder how many people have to die until people realize that this is not funny.
